Church Van Conversion

Round two let the games begin!

“Dustin, can’t we just do the exact same thing to this van as our first one, if so we can have it done in no time?” I said in the…you have to say yes because I’m still bummed we aren’t out enjoying the first van we were so excited about…voice.

“Yep, we absolutely can!” Of course, you know he was laughing under his breath when he responded because he knew my “we” was really him doing all the work.

A little giddy I said, “awesome, Haley and I will head to Home Depot, she can pick out the laminate and you just text me a list of everything else we need!”

As we were pulling into the Home Depot parking lot, my list was delivered to my phone in eight text messages…LOL!

Haley and I jumped out of the Tahoe and headed into the store.

We were on a mission, the shopping course plotted in our heads, starting in the back left-hand side of the store in the flooring section and ending in the lumber section.

With our overflowing cart, lumber almost hitting everyone and everything we passed, we were headed to the checkout, when I got this message from Dustin!

I’m still not sure how, Haley and I ended up fitting everything in there, but we did it!

This conversion looked almost identical to our 1992 Ford Econoline Van conversion, check that out here.

New flooring, kitchen, ventless heater on door, kitchen unit, electric completed, Jackery, and fridge…(how to’s coming soon)!

Dustin did this kitchen piece in two days, late nights included, as we were scheduled to head out on our first road trip the next afternoon. Prescott, AZ here we come!
